Creative Resistance

Thursday, January 15th & 29th

5:00pm - 9:00pm

🎨 Join us in an empowering space where art meets action! Our Creative Resistance Gatherings bring people together to explore art as a tool for change, healing, and connection.

Whether you’re painting banners for climate justice, crafting zines to amplify unheard voices, or designing wearable art for social movements, this is your space to dream, create, and resist.

Together, we’ll reimagine a just world and transform our ideas into tangible expressions of hope, solidarity, and resistance.

Come to meet and socialize with members of other liberation focused groups, orgs, and movements, and bring whatever you want to work on or fold into an ongoing project!

Rapid Response Training [-Online-]

6 February 2026

6:00pm - 8:00pm

Join this virtual training to learn more about existing rapid response networks across the state that mobilize for deportation defense, and work to support communities and keep families together.

Learn how to become part of our statewide network of volunteers.

As a member of a WAISN Rapid Response Team, you will:

- Hold immigration and law enforcement agencies accountable for their actions, especially when they violate the constitutional rights and civil liberties of all Washingtonians regardless of immigration status;

- Aid in building immigrant power and resilience by sharing information about our rights;

- Support and walk alongside affected families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives;

- Unite our voices to strengthen and build community leadership, working together for our collective liberation.
