The Heron’s Nest is a living classroom dedicated to the healing of an industrialized region.

Created for the benefit of the Duwamish Tribe and the broader community, we teach and practice traditional ecological restoration, urban agriculture, and skills sharing — offering a retreat within the city of Seattle, along forest trails leading to the Duwamish River, a federal superfund site.
