Heron’s Nest is open to the public during scheduled events and by reservation. We host group tours, special events, and weekly volunteer days. Check out our Events page to plan your visit.

Set on over three acres above the Duwamish River, the site offers a rare sense of nature and solitude within the city of Seattle. Heron’s Nest provides fresh food, flowers, and hands-on education focused on sustainability and community care.

Our address is 4818 15th Ave Way SW, Seattle. The road you will turn onto is marked Puget Way SW, located just south of the Duwamish Longhouse off of West Marginal Way. Please drive slowly up the forest road — our entrance is on the right-hand side through a gate.
